Metro is seeking professional services to provide conceptual engineering (CE) design services for the proposed Grade Separation of the Crenshaw/LAX light rail transit line at the intersection of Centinela Avenue and Florence Avenue (Project). This rail crossing is within one‐quarter mile of the Downtown Inglewood station and 1.5 miles northwest of the Inglewood NFL Stadium (under construction) and the Hollywood Park Development Area. 

Description of Role:

BA Inc. served as a sub consultant tasked with providing conceptual engineering (CE) design services for the proposed Grade Separation of the Crenshaw/LAX light rail transit line at the intersection of Centinela Avenue and Florence Avenue. BA performed a utility investigation along the alignment to verify the location of the utilities identified during the construction of the CLAX transit and utilized this information to provide dispositions for the existing utilities. Any utilities in conflict with the proposed track alignment were verified to need either encasement extensions or to be protected in place. BA provided the client with composite drawings and matrices depicting the existing utility findings.
