2004

In The Beginning

Bullock & Associates Inc., now BA Inc. (DBE/MBE/SBE), was established and incorporated February 10, 2004. The firm was privately owned and operated solely by Hope A. Bullock III, a civil engineering graduate from Morgan State University. Shortly after graduation, Mr. Bullock joined URS’ transportation division where he worked several years as transportation engineer before establishing BA Inc.
April 2004

Our First Contract

The firm was awarded its first contract in Los Angeles, CA to provide drainage design for The Metro Orange Line Design Build Project. The Orange Line project set the stage for the future as BA Inc. working diligently to secure contracts in and around the Los Angeles metropolitan area.
2007

And Then There Were Two ...

As additional contracts were secured and with more assignments on the horizon, it was time for BA Inc. to hire its first employee. Hope and his staff of one began working towards a promising future…seeking prominent projects in the Los Angeles area.
2009

Centerstage

After securing several sub-consulting contracts on Public Works projects BA Inc. made a significant accomplishment by securing its first contract as a Prime consultant working with the Metropolitan Water District (MWD).

BA Inc Today

Today, BA Inc. stands as one of the few minority owned firms performing on the nation’s largest project, The I-405 Sepulveda Pass Widening, also known worldwide as “Carmageddon”. Our goal is to become the most reliable, top performing Civil Engineering firm in the nation. We will continue to provide innovative, comprehensive solutions of high quality; designing today’s infrastructure for tomorrow’s journey.
